Region Örebro County Awards Cultural Grant We are proud to announce that Malin Dahl, director and screenwriter at Backa Studios, has been awarded this year’s cultural grant from the municipality of Örebro. The grant honors Malin’s artistic work and commitment and supports her continued film creative projects. Malin Dahl has, over many years, developed a strong and original voice in Swedish film, with a focus on character-driven storytelling and visually powerful narratives. The cultural grant enables her to continue exploring innovative ways of telling stories through both film and animation. The motivation: Film director, screenwriter, and animator Malin Dahl is one of the founders behind the production company Backa Studios.
