Långfilmen Tyst faller snön får världspremiär på Göteborg Film Festival 2026, uttagen till sektionen Nordic Light och nominerad till Angelospriset. Filmen fortsätter Backa Studios starka närvaro på Nordens största filmfestival. Den 7 januari presenterade Göteborg Film Festival 2026 sitt officiella program, där Tyst faller snön är en av de utvalda långfilmerna. Filmen är uttagen till programsektionen Nordic Light, som lyfter fram konstnärligt starka och aktuella filmer från Norden, och tävlar om Angelospriset, som årligen delas ut av Svenska kyrkan. On January 7, the Göteborg Film Festival 2026 announced its official programme, where The Silence of Snow is one of the selected feature films. The film is part of the Nordic Light section, which highlights artistically strong and contemporary films from the Nordic countries, and is nominated for the Angelos Award, presented annually by the Church of Sweden. This marks the second consecutive year that a feature film produced by Backa Studios is selected for the Göteborg Film Festival’s official programme, following May You Live, which had its world premiere at the festival in 2025.
